HP LaserJet P1102W WiFi Features and performance

HP LaserJet P1102W WiFi Features and performance

On the back of the panel, on the left side, there is a USB cable. A temporary USB connection is required even if you intend to use the printer over Wi-Fi.

The HP LaserJet P1102w even has a good print speed: 18ppm, which is good for a personal laser printer. Our 5-page text print took 27 seconds, which equates to a speed of 11 ppm. When increasing the number of pages of a 20-page document the speed was 15.8 ppm, which is over 75 percent of the rated speed.

A 15x10 cm photo on an A4 sheet took just 13 seconds at the device's maximum resolution, called FastRes 1200 . In normal FastRes 600 it only took 10 seconds. These speeds are pretty reasonable for an entry-level machine and compare well with Samsung's latest models like the ML-2525 and ML-1915.

In relation to printed texts, there is no originality. It's like most monochrome printers. The HP LaserJet P1102w doesn't offer anything worth mentioning in this regard.

Color gamut printing is also quite reasonable too, with softer ones generally available for all types of business graphics. Some colors translate to very similar shades of gray, which can be confusing, but for graphics, for example, everything will be clean and clear.
